The Fender Player Plus Series builds on the best-selling Player Series that was first released in 2018, combining classic Fender designs with upgraded features and new finishes to create Fender’s most advanced series ever in this class, setting a new standard for entry-level guitars.

The Fender Player Plus Stratocaster HSS has an Alder body which is fairly lightweight and provides a full-bodied tone, a 25.5” scale length, a durable maple neck with a modern ‘C’ shape profile and a smooth satin finish. The fretboard is made from Pau Ferro which has a similar feel to ebony and has rolled edges to make it even more comfortable to play, a 12” radius, a 1.685" nut width and 22 medium jumbo frets which all contribute to the modern feel.

The Player Plus Stratocaster HSS has a 2-point synchronized tremolo with block saddles which makes it smooth and responsive and provides classic vibrato effects, while the deluxe cast/sealed locking tuners provide incredible tuning stability and make it easier to restring.

For pickups, it has a Player Plus humbucker at the bridge which delivers a balance of articulation and gain, and a pair of Player Plus Noiseless Strat single-coil pickups that deliver articulate, bright Strat tones without hum.

There’s also a push-pull pot on Tone 2 that splits the hum for single-coil sounds, which delivers clear single-coil tones making this Strat incredibly versatile. The five-way switch lets you access Strat-style pickup combinations for a wide variety of tonal options.
