Equipped with a dual-gain circuit, the Boss MT-2 Metal Zone is able to produce the heaviest, deepest and strongest distortion of any Boss compact guitar pedal.

Tailor Your Tone to Perfection

In addition to the Distortion and Level knobs which allow you to control the overall level of distortion and volume of the pedal respectively, you will also find a three-band EQ built into the Boss MT-2 Metal Zone.

Using the onboard EQ, you have complete control over your tone. Tweak the bottom and top with LOW and HIGH knobs and fine-tune with the parametric midrange controls to get just the sound you’re looking for.

A huge range of options are available to you. If you’d like a chunky, fat riffing sound, use the MT-2 Metal Zone’s EQ o boost the midrange.

If you’d prefer a thicker, heavier sound for serious metal guitar attack, you can cut the mids while boosting the highs and lows.

The MT-2’s three-band EQ gives you a massive amount of tonal control, tweak the bottom and top with the LOW and HIGH knobs and fine-tune the detail of the sound with the parametric midrange controls.

Produce a fat riff sound by using the MT-2’s EQ to boost the midrange or create a thick and heavy sound by cutting the mids and boosting the highs and lows.
