Never easy to purchase a guitar looking at photos, you need someone at the other end to give you an honest unbiased appraisal, not that easy when the seller owns the guitar. Well let me put you at ease with R & T Music in Cumbria, when I made contact with Vaughan about a pre-loved guitar that they were selling, I got all the info from Vaughan and just to let you know, it arrived exactly as described. What a fantastic store! I popped in with an acoustic guitar I'd bought second hand in a private sale and needed the action lowering. Aaron was able to get it set up and gig ready within a couple of hours from drop off. Would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for a great service at a very reasonable price point...
Fantastic service at a genuinely impressive price. I'd been looking for an actual shop to buy from so we didn't have to use Amazon, and came across R&T on a search for a 3/4 electric for my son. Vaughan provided exactly what we needed and more, putting together a great bundle for just under £150 and played the guitar in a bit one he'd set it up to check it (I was a bit worried cos 3/4-lengths don't always hold standard tuning particularly well) - put my mind at rest before he posted it to us. The guitar was choking a bit on the first couple of frets when it arrived as it'd been stored in cold warehouses and vans for a couple of days. Vaughan posted me a truss rod FOC to make any adjustments if it didn't settle down after warming up. It was fine, but a really lovely touch. Please, if you're looking for something and Vaughan has it, order from R&T. We need to keep proper music shops open, and this is a proper good one.
Came in today to buy an electric guitar for my daughter for christmas, having no clue about anything. Vaughan was amazing, worked with our budget and got us set up with everything we would need. Fantastic customer service, friendly and welcoming. 100% recommend.
