The Tanglewood TWT9 Tiare 4 String Ukulele is crafted with an a spruce top, back and sides which together produce the ultimate crisp sound with a broad, dynamic range. The TWT9's concert size offers a fuller and deeper sound than the classic soprano. It's larger size makes it manageable for beginners as well as concert playing. Coupled with a unique okoume neck, which is tonally similar to maple, the TWT9 Ukulele delivers bright tones with good sustain. Finally, this guitar is complete with a natural gloss finish.
The concert ukulele size was designed with the idea of being slightly larger than the classic soprano, making it more manageable for larger fingered players. This ukulele provides a melodic, deeper and fuller sound with plenty of projection, ideal for concert playing. The longer scale length makes the notes carry for longer and with its extra comfort, it is an excellent first choice for beginners.
