Angular, chaotic, and wonderful, just like the sounds it produces, the brand new Vintage V65HBLD is the perfect instrument for those players who seek to find, or make, something different and exciting.

An elegant Alder body provides excellent resonance, tone and ‘correct weight’ comfort, and due to Vintage's new and unique offset heel, much improved access to the upper reaches of the fantastic one piece Mahogany neck. A classic Vintage ‘soft C’ profile provides instant comfort, speed, and accuracy, while the 10" radius Lignum Rosa™ fingerboard, with 22 Medium Jumbo frets, not only enhances this, but also gives outstanding tonal transfer, responsiveness and durability.

Pickups are two Wilkinson Soapbar single coils, which provide fat and articulate cleans and cutting, punchy overdriven tones. Easily manipulated by the independent master Volume and Tone pots, and the accompanying three position pickup selector, the sounds produced by this guitar could easily be described as "versatile", but as any offset player will tell you - that seems to be a mere understatement.

Dispensing with the trem systems typically associated with this type of guitar, Vintage have instead chosen a trusty Wilkinson six saddle hardtail bridge, enabling reliable intonation for each string, and superb tuning stability even in the most explosive circumstances. Tuning stability is further strengthened by Wilkinson's excellent WJ44 machine heads, and a well cut, smooth, and precise Graphtech NuBone nut.
