Delicious Dynamix

Let waves of smooth vintage tones wash over you. Switch to thundering rock capabilities. Discover your own unique harmonics. With the duo of Dynamix humbucking pickups, your bass is loaded with a truly wall-trembling sound. With these, your instrument is infused with an obscene level of versatility. Transport your tone from warm sounds to heavier rock voicings, all whilst maintaining a wonderous clarity.

Incorporating individual volume controls for each pickup, this bass blends both sounds to create unique, full sounds. The master tone control shapes the bass's frequency response, letting you dial in your own desired preference. Additionally, the built in Phat II EQ circuitry allows active style bass boosting via its one channel EQ preamp, delivering a beefy and deep tone for when you need to add an extra layer of thunder. With these limitless sonic capabilities, let your creativity run wild.

Luxurious playing experience

This 6 string Ibanez is sculpted with a poplar and maple body, delivering elegant contours and sleek designs to ensure a luxurious playing experience. Poplar gives the bass an outstanding natural tone with a defined low-end, a tight midrange, and a sweet high-end. Its cutaway profile also allows for easy playability, giving you absolute freedom to access the upper ranges of the fingerboard.

Each and every aspect has been considered to maximise your performance. That's why jatoba crafts the fingerboard, offering an unblemished, smooth surface to glide across effortlessly and with accuracy. This material also has the benefit of exceptional tonal qualities with a luscious mid-range and scintillating highs. Its neck is crafted with silky-smooth maple, topped with a satin finish. This fine tonewood has been sculpted with Ibanez's GSR6 profile, providing a comfortable grasp with unrivalled freedom, which makes movement a thing of ease. Pure comfort.

The GIO Series

It seems most manufacturers have their own entry-level ranges of basses, and fortunately Ibanez isn't an exception to this rule. Ibanez GIO series models are exceptional. Each instrument is built to the same high-quality specifications as its premium counterpart. If you're looking for an entry level bass by a historically renowned guitar maker, then look no further than the Ibanez GIO series basses.
