The Overwater Aspiration Standard bass guitar is a fantastic edition of these excellent affordable instruments. The passive electronics, featuring volume, pan control and ‘treble roll-off’ tone control work effortlessly with a smooth response throughout each of their travels. The Candy Apple Red finish coats a poplar body on to which a one piece maple neck is bolted. There’s a neat set of tuning keys and a lovely matching coloured headstock. The full 24 fret neck with a 19mm spacing and a 40mm nut width feels nice, slim and quick to navigate.
