The Tanglewood TWT10 Tiare Concert Size Ukulele is crafted with an all spalted maple top, back and sides creating tight lows and clear highs with a large dynamic range. The TWT10's concert size offers a fuller and deeper sound than the classic soprano. Its larger size makes it manageable for beginners as well as concert playing. Coupled with a unique okoume neck, which is tonally similar to maple, the TWT10 Ukulele delivers bright tones with good sustain. Finally, this ukulele is complete with the stunning pattern of the spalted maple, finished with a natural gloss.
The concert ukulele size was designed with the idea of being slightly larger than the classic soprano, making it more manageable for larger fingered players. This ukulele provides a melodic, deep and full sound with plenty of projection, ideal for concert playing. The longer scale length makes the notes carry for longer and with its extra comfort, it is an excellent first choice for beginners.
